(1) There will be a fund named Environment Protection Fund for protection of environment, prevention and control of pollution, climate change management, protection of national heritage.
(2) The fund as per sub-section (1) shall contain the following amounts:-
(a) Government of Nepal received amount from provincial government or local level (b) Amounts received from native persons or associations,
(c) Funds received from foreign governments or international organizations.
(3) Before receiving the amount as per clause (c) of sub-section (2), the Government of Nepal shall take the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
(4) The fund shall be audited by the Auditor General.
(5) The operation of the fund shall be as prescribed.
